To St. Joseph in sudden need – Triduum in one day – beg for the immediate assistance.

The following prayers can be said three times during the day: in the morning, in the middle of the day and in the evening. If this is a very urgent matter, for example a prayer for the conversion of a dangerously ill person, the prayer can be said in three consecutive hours.

Prayer

Saint Joseph, I offer you the love that Jesus and Mary have for you. I also offer you the adoration, the tributes of gratitude and the sacrifices, that the faithful have made you from time immemorial until now. I commend myself and all close to my heart to your holy protection for ever.
I beg you, for the love of God and the Blessed Virgin Mary, your bride, deign to obtain for us the grace of the ultimate salvation and all the graces we need, especially this particular grace (name the intention). Make haste to come to the rescue, holy Patriarch, and console me in my distress.
O Saint Joseph, friend of the Heart of Jesus, hear me.

Five suspirations to St. Joseph

Saint Joseph, lover of Jesus and Mary, obtain for me this grace, that I may more fervently love your adopted Son and His Virgin Mother.

Saint Joseph, who blissfully died in the arms of Jesus and Mary, obtain for me the grace of a happy death. May Jesus and Mary be with me in the moment of agony, and may my last words be the sweetest names of Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Amen.
